Welcome! My guess is that you have found my site because your fuzzy beastie is as much a part of your family as any of the humans in your life. Personally, my fur baby is my child ... albeit a very fuzzy, very excitable, constantly shedding, four-legged child. And like any parent, I just can't get enough pictures of my beautiful baby boy.
Of course, he got tired of posing for me a long, long time ago. A friend recommended that I volunteer with some local animal shelters ... and I haven't looked back. Through Fuzzy Beastie Photography, I am able to combine my love of photography with my love of animals, donating my time to various animal rescue organizations around the Bay Area with the goal of finding awesome shelter pets loving forever families. What's more, I also get to meet the amazing volunteers who work at all these organizations, and I can say that I am a better person for knowing them all.
Over the years, my work with Fuzzy Beastie Photography has gravitated more toward pro bono work with these fabulous shelter communities. However, I have recently started to take on clients again. I realized that I was missing out on the best part—the "happily ever after!"
Whether holding mini-sessions at Veterinary Clinics, co-hosting holiday card mini-sessions with a shelter at a local retailer, traveling to the home of a happy pet owner, or scheduling a full session in my Sunnyvale studio, my goal is to ensure that my clients get the perfect photos of their fuzzy beastie(s) to cherish forever. I capture solo pet photos and full family portraits.
Process & Pricing:
My rate for a photo session is $225. We will meet for as long as it takes for us to get all the various poses you want for your fuzzy beastie(s) and any associated humans—usually about an hour (90 minutes at the longest). This includes time for your fuzzy to get acclimated to the situation and get ready to pose.
Once you decide to schedule a session, I will send you a brief questionnaire. This will help give me some background information about what you are looking for in a photo session, as well as other details to help me prepare for our time together. I will also schedule some time for us to talk on the phone before we meet.
Then, after our session, I will work on all your photos, selecting the best to share with you. Once they are ready, you & I can get together again to go through those images, and talk about the best images for printing (and in what format). You can see my print pricing here. You would also get web-resolution digital files for any images you print.
In the meantime, feel free to learn more about these awesome organizations:
